She found her first one in some sand dunes. She found her second one in a forest. She’s made it her mission to look for them everywhere she goes, and when she finds them, she keeps them.
They hang on the wall, but not all the time. She’ll pull one down occasionally to have a closer look. She’ll sketch them from various angles. She knows how to clean them if they get dirty. Ask what all the fascination is about, and she’ll tell you, ” ’cause I just like them.” Watch the way she looks at and handles them and you can’t help but notice that, to her, each one is a work of art.
